Question: How long do you soak partials in the cleanser and do you brush with the denture brush before or after soaking? Once cleaned at night after removal, how do you store them until the next day?
May 27, 2010 9:55 am
Thank you for contacting Fixodent Denture Living. Fixodent Denture Cleanser with ProGuard is recommended for use at least once a day for full or partial dentures. To use:
1. Drop one tablet in the bottom of a denture bath.
Place dentures in bath. Add very warm water (not hot) to cover dentures.
(Note: dentures do not need to lay flat in bath but do need to be COVERED with water)
2. Solution will effervesce and change from blue to clear. After 15 minutes, dentures are clean and odor free. May be soaked overnight if desired.
3. Lift dentures out of solution. Rinse with water before using dentures.
We recommend that you follow your dentist's recommendation on whether to brush the dentures before or after soaking in the cleansing solution.
